HFZA has a cleared defined mission and vision which is based on providing the best services to the investors from all perspectives to encourage and motivate them to setup the business in the free zone. Identifying the factors which were essential for HFZA to help them to achieve their vision and mission , they realized that smart and intelligent information systems which can identify the best possible way of executing the business processes with the least resources and being fully effective and efficient will play a key and vital role in the success and growth of the organization. As a result of this , a need for a comprehensive ERP system was realized which can electronically connect all the departments and enable the flow of information between the departments in the best possible way and keeping the adherence of the business rules and regulations and policies as top priority.
A region wide tender was issued in which around 18 companies participated not only from UAE but from Oman , Saudia , Jordan , UK and Canada as well make the competition extremely high and built on the philosophy of “Survival of the fittest” . After six rounds of different kinds of assessments , three companies were short listed . The final round of the assessment included simulating a model which explains the entire solution that addresses the requirement and needs of the free zone and will work in the most efficient and effective way. After a thorough and rigorous assessment of different solutions proposed by different organizations , RSI Concepts was selected to study , analyze , architect , design and development a custom ERP solution for the free zone that automates all the internal business processes.
RSI Concepts worked in an expedited manner to execute and deliver a high end scalable system in the timeline committed. The system was integrated with a number of existing internal information systems such as Printing Solution , in house Document management System , SMS Gateway and the Fax Gateway. A complete high end and sophisticated Barcode printing and scanning solution was part of the system implemented. The system also had an inclusion of the smart and latest RFID technology implemented in one of the major departments in the organization for security and location detection purposes of the assets.
